Saxmundham Phase Two is complete!
The Bell Hotel feels like a transformed place, with three new luxury bedrooms added,
a brand new terrace outside, a lift and reception desk for the first time, and the
gorgeous Coach Room for private dining and meetings up to 8.
The bedrooms are:
3 – Southwold
A deluxe double or twin bedroom with Hypnos luxury bed, standalone bath for two, large walk in shower, and the largest bathroom in the company!
10 – Woodbridge
A classic double bedroom on the second floor with Hypnos luxury bed, and walk in shower.
11 – Alde
A cosy double bedroom on the second floor with Hypnos luxury bed, and walk in shower.
The large lift takes guests to the first floor where we have certain bedrooms equipped as accessible rooms. There is also a new ramp and handrail from street level at the rear of the hotel for easy access.
The reception desk features the logo of The Bell Hotel, complete with oxlip flowers, which is the county flower of Suffolk.
The Coach Room features luxury table and eight chairs, and a Frame by Samsung TV which can either be a
monitor for conferences, or a flexible artwork for a dinner party.
The Terrace features banquette seating, scatter cushions, umbrellas, and has rapidly become popular for residents’ breakfasts, and for lunches, afternoon teas and early evening drinks in the sunshine.
New artwork of Dunwich Heath in The Heath Restaurant, of the Alde river at Iken in The River Bar, and of Aldeburgh Beach in The Coast Lounge.
Meanwhile at West Lodge Park …
Life doesn’t stand still at West Lodge Park either, with improvements around the hotel including:
Bedroom 5 – Rose – has been transformed from a rather dated four poster room into the finest bedroom in the
house, complete with luxury Hypnos double bed, standalone bath for two, walk in shower.
The overflow car park received new white lining and the main car park received new tarmac in parts.
