Congratulations!
To: Irene Peters on a brilliant 20 years in housekeeping. Peach Slade on a superb 10 years in housekeeping. Dominic Beale on his first 5 years in the kitchen, gardens and estates team. Victoria Mainwaring on her first 5 years in C&B and Restaurant. Aziz Benahmed on his first 2 years both at Beales Hotel and WLP. Nahida Hussain on her first 2 years in the Office Team. Paul Beatty on his first 2 years in the gardens.
Congratulations also go to Michal Poplawski and Achyut Upadhyaya for completing their LV2 Food Safety training, and Niamh Chandler, Hannah Alayli and Tara Treschi for completing their Allergen Training.
Sales & Events News!
From Monday July 19th, the government is on course to release all final restrictions on our business, thank goodness.
Until then, we are still able to host smaller weddings, meetings and wakes, and are open in our bedrooms, restaurant and bar, as well as on our superb new bar terrace.
Forthcoming special events include:
A series of beekeeping days on 30th June, 15th July and 31st July, a Wedding Open Day on 18th July, and Cocktails al fresco on 14th August.

Current special offers include:
Escape to the country 3 night offer, a Sparkling Bed and Breakfast 1 night offer, a Seasonal Dinner, bed and breakfast 1 night + offer, and a Settle in Sunday offer.
A wide variety of Special Events are in the 2021 programme, including Beekeeping sessions, Father’s Day lunch and tea, Arboretum tours throughout the season, a much postponed Concert Dinner on 25th June (pictured), Wedding Open Day on 18th July, Cocktails on 14th August, and a Barbecue on 30th August.

Estates News!
Further improvements have been made to our beautiful new bar terrace including smart rope barriers and “manifestation” transfers on the windbreak Perspex.
The Garden Pavilion construction on our croquet lawn is progressing well, this oak structure will be open sided, and suitable for wedding ceremonies, small barbecues and the like.
A lovely new wall and steps have been built on our croquet lawn in preparation for the Garden Pavilion above. This replaces a century old wall in the same position.
The Catalpa collection of Indian Bean Trees in the Beale Arboretum has been awarded National Collection Status by Plant Heritage, the successful conclusion to a decade long project of planting these beautiful trees, and joins the National Collection of Taxodium (Swamp Cypress) and Caprinus Betulus (Hornbeam).
The Dogwoods (Cornus) in the Beale Arboretum have been spectacular during June. Here is Cornus kousa ‘Venus’ looking stunning.
