From Monday May 17th the second stage of the government’s roadmap allows us to finally open our Mary Beale Restaurant, Terrace Bar, Conference and Banqueting rooms for up to 30, and all our bedrooms. We look forward to welcoming all our guests back to the hotel.
New breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner menus have been developed by Executive Chef Wayne Turner and his team for this new season.
A wide variety of Special Events are in the 2021 programme, including Beekeeping sessions, Father’s Day lunch and tea, Arboretum tours throughout the season, a much postponed Concert Dinner on 25th June (pictured), Wedding Open Day on 18th July, Cocktails on 14th August, and a Barbecue on 30th August.
Look out for Special Offers on our website for midweek and weekend breaks at the hotel – enjoy a change of scene after the lockdown months, delicious food, and, finally, the company of family and friends.
Estates News!
The top field car park has been completed with a permeable tarmac surface, along with repairs to our front drive.
The stunning new bar terrace at West Lodge Park has been a hit with our guests during the first month of opening and gives a variety of comfortable seating areas both under cover and in the open air.
The National Gardens Scheme Garden Open Day on the 9th May welcomed 143 visitors to the Beale Arboretum in aid of charity, the gardens looked beautiful despite the very cold start to spring.
The garden pavilion is being built on the croquet lawn, offering the facility for outdoor weddings and events in the beautiful grounds of the hotel.
