I must congratulate you on your splendid Burns night held last Friday. I shared a table with Vera, Peter and Joy(The Concert Group) and we had such a lovely time although we missed your excellent company very much indeed. The organisation was first class, the recitation and piping really good and it was great to see such an array of kilts including Mathew (Croxford) who looked very fine indeed. The greatest joy was the food which was beautifully cooked , presented and served. I had never found an elegant way of presenting haggis at table until this Friday- circles of haggis, neeps and tatties arranged on top of each other. Brilliant! I was so inspired that I had to experiment and served a small haggis on Sunday arranged in a similar way but only using swede with the haggis. I attach a small photo recording my first efforts- please forgive me for this. Many many thanks to your chef and his team for coming up with such a delicious arrangement!
I hope you are well and that 2018 will be a good year for you. I have booked for the March concert and hope to see you then if not before!
