The 24 smart new LED lights on the WLP front drive are now on, and transform the driveway to a safe space for our guests and staff alike.

Deluxe new Hypnos pocket sprung beds are being installed in BH bedrooms 42,45, 52, 54 – this concludes a six year programme of bed replacement at BH. Next in line will be the WLP Chestnut Lodge rooms.

A new expensive dimmer system is being installed in the Mary Beale Restaurant at WLP to ensure uniformity of lighting at different times of day, evening and night.

replacement boiler and burner has been fitted at WLP, costing thousands of pounds – typical of the behind the scenes work which our guests do not notice but essential for the smooth running of the hotel.

WLP Executive bedrooms 33 and 36 are receiving a makeover with new lighting, new wallpaper, new curtains and blinds, and a new carpet in 33.

A fantastic gift of 56 specimen trees has been received from Martin Gardner MBE for the Beale Arboretum. Martin heads up the International Conifer Conservation Programme at Edinburgh.

The new Autumn/Winter Food and Drink bar menu is now out at West Lodge Park.

The Bordeaux gourmet dinner at WLP takes place on Friday 2nd November matching delicious Bordelais cuisine with fine wines from the region.
 

Game week is in Outsidein Restaurant at BH from 15th to 20th October with a selection of delicious game dishes prepared by Chef Jamie Curtis and his team.

Christmas is just around the corner (really!) so book now for Christmas parties, Christmas week events and restaurant tables at both West Lodge Park and Beales Hotel to avoid disappointment!
