Experienced Food and Beverage Assistant

This prestigious country house hotel is rated as one of the best 4* hotels in Hertfordshire, holding 1 AA Rosette. The hotel has 58 bedrooms, 7 conference and banqueting rooms, Restaurant and Terrace Bar.

Role Responsibilities:

Operational & Communication

Encouraging high levels of staff morale, fantastic customer care, positively promote company documentation, communication with all management and staff, proactive in upselling, maintaining restaurant standards using SOP manuals. The F&B assistant forms the continuous link between the kitchen and the dining room.

  • Arranging the dining room
  • Welcoming and serving Restaurant guest
  • Service of food, wine and drinks, as directed by senior staff.
  • Tidying the dining room after meal service
  • To ensure the guests receive high quality services and service provision
  • To ensure that health and safety and procedures are respected
  • Assisting with training of new staff
  • To be fully aware of hotel facilities and activities
  • To be fully aware of and observe current liquor licensing laws.
  • To ensure on all occasions you observe safe and hygienic working practices in order to satisfy Health and Safety at Work, Food
  • Hygiene and other statutory legislation.
  • To attend work consistently well groomed, in uniform, as laid down to the standard required.
  • Helping out with C&B where required
  • To be aware of and strictly adhere to fire procedures.
  • To consistently deliver superior customer service.
  • To attend training when required.
  • To be fully aware of and adhere to Health and Safety and security procedures. This to include cash and key procedures.
  • To be fully aware of and comply with hotel and company rules and regulations as identified in the company handbook.
  • Helping out with C&B where required

Qualifications and Skills

  • You must possess the relevant skills and personality.
  • To have the ability at all times to do the utmost for staff, customers and the company.
