The West Lodge Park tradition, served in the Terrace Bar, in the hotel lounge and on the terrace when fine. No more civilised way to pass the day than with a delicious afternoon tea followed by a stroll around the beautiful 35 acres of grounds surrounding the hotel.
Enjoy the 800 species of trees in the Beale Arboretum. Try your hand at a free game of croquet on the lawn, or a game of putting by the lake.
Our teas change seasonally and from month to month we will offer a special afternoon tea which can be seen
on our blackboards when available.

We pride ourselves on using local produce such as Tiptree jam
from Essex, Hertfordshire free-range eggs and chickens from
Sutton Hoo Farm in Suffolk. Working with these local suppliers we
produce all our afternoon teas freshly to order.
Please note that a West Lodge Park Afternoon tea or Champagne tea must be ordered by each person. We recommend reserving a table for tea.

One of the contributory factors of this was the excellent, friendly and helpful service that Kamel provided on the day – a very nice chap and someone whom I think should be recognised.
