It’s truly inspiring to have our walls adorned with the works of Mary Beale, and it’s a real pleasure to be able to offer you a very high end dining experience. Please don’t forget you are more than welcome to stroll the grounds before or after your meal.

Led by Executive Chef Wayne Turner and his restaurant brigade, The Mary Beale Restaurant offers weekly changing menus, freshly made using the finest ingredients from our locally sourced suppliers.

With Free Wi-Fi connection available throughout the hotel, it’s the perfect place for work or pleasure.

Whilst we will endeavour to serve the full a la carte menu to tables of 8 and over, at times we reserve the right to offer a reduced menu, for those with smaller appetites delicious light meals or snacks can be served in the bar.

We are open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and our extremely popular Afternoon Tea’s (booking is advised).

Large tables in the Mary Beale Restaurant

Lunches and dinners from Sunday night to Saturday night each week

Tables of 1 – 12 guests

  • We welcome bookings for 1-12 guests in the Mary Beale restaurant, via our ResDiary booking facility online or by phone to 0208 216 3900
  • Our standard table d’hote and a la carte menus are open to you and your guests, and orders will be taken in the usual way.
  • Please ensure that you sit down at your table at the agreed time.
  • If you want arrival drinks then please arrive at least 30 minutes earlier

Large tables of 13 – 20 guests

  • Tables of 13-20 guests is considered a large table.
  • We will offer you a private room
  • The private room will be subject to change up until 14 working days before the meal
  • A menu of three starters, three main courses and three desserts will be provided with no variations (except vegan and actual allergies) – see attached for the menu
  • This menu will be in force from Sunday evening to Saturday dinner with only Sunday lunch being a different menu (see below)
  • Seasonal menu. There will always be 2 menus live giving up to 6 months’ worth of options
  • No pre order needed, although we will take pre-orders if you want to provide them for a speedier service and we do recommend a pre order.
  • Pre-orders taken or orders taken minimum 20 minutes before sit down time
  • Sit down times for large tables are 12.15pm & 1.30pm at lunchtime / 7.00pm or 8.30pm at dinner time.
  • If you want arrival drinks then please arrive at least 30 minutes earlier
  • Price £35 per head including artisan bread and unsalted butter, and tea/coffee/petits fours.
  • Credit card details will be taken at the time of booking, you will have a 72 working hour cancellation period, and a £10 pp cancellation charge will be applied in the event of a no show or if numbers drop by more than 50%
  • All large table bookings will be routed through our conference and banqueting office, with a maximum lead time for these kind of bookings of 3 months

Large parties of 21+ guests

  • We welcome parties of over 21 guests to our hotel in a beautiful private room for which a hire fee is applied, and with a set menu or buffet for all your guests.
  • Bookings are taken through our conference and banqueting office.
Sunday lunches

Tables of 1 – 12 guests

  • Our standard Sunday lunch menu is open to you and your guests, and orders will be taken in the usual way.

  • We will offer you a private room

  • Vegetables will be served in bowls in the middle of the table for your guests to help themselves.

  • Sit down times for large tables are 12.15pm & 1.30pm at lunchtime

Executive bedrooms in the hotel are larger in size and Luxury bedrooms are even larger, set a little distance from the hotel in the gorgeous grounds.

All our bedrooms are individually named and decorated with stunning views over either the Beale Arboretum, the formal gardens of the hotel, or the wider open spaces of the Enfield Chace.
