Afternoon Teas at West Lodge Park

We pride ourselves on using local produce such as Tiptree jam from Essex, Hertfordshire free-range eggs and chickens from Sutton Hoo Farm in Suffolk. Working with these local suppliers we produce all our afternoon teas freshly to order.

At West Lodge Park, we have a fantastic selection of Afternoon Tea’s to suit your requirements, served in the May Beale Restaurant or the Terrace Bar you can rest assured a relaxing afternoon in beautiful surroundings.

Monday - Saturday: Served between 3.00pm and 6.00pm
Sunday: Served between 3.30pm and 6.00pm

The West Lodge Park tradition, served in the Terrace Bar, in the hotel lounge, and on the terrace when fine.

No more civilised way to pass the day than with a delicious afternoon tea followed by a stroll around the beautiful 35 acres of grounds surrounding the hotel.

Enjoy the 800 species of trees in the Beale Arboretum.

Try your hand at a free game of croquet on the lawn, or a game of putting by the lake.

Please note that a Cedar Afternoon tea, a West Lodge Park Afternoon Tea or a Champagne Afternoon tea must be ordered by each person.

(as the West Lodge Park afternoon tea, plus a delicious glass of Taittinger Rosé Champagne)

Vegetarian sandwiches available: cucumber, hummus, piquillo pepper and rocket, Hertfordshire free range egg & cress, mature Dorset cheddar cheese, semi dried tomato)

Executive bedrooms in the hotel are larger in size and Luxury bedrooms are even larger, set a little distance from the hotel in the gorgeous grounds.

All our bedrooms are individually named and decorated with stunning views over either the Beale Arboretum, the formal gardens of the hotel, or the wider open spaces of the Enfield Chace.
