The daily delegate rates include lunch served in the Mary Beale Restaurant.
You still have a choice of menus when dining in the restaurant although we recommend the hot and cold two course buffet lunch with coffee as being the best for your delegates.
A £2 supplement applies within your delegate rate if we are to serve you your lunch in the room.
However we can’t recommend highly enough breaking your day with lunch in the restaurant for the following reasons :
- It gives your delegates a change of scene with morning and afternoon sessions in the meeting room but lunch in the restaurant
- It allows our conference team to clear your room during lunch and refresh it ready for the return of your delegates
- It means there is no disturbance to your conference or seminar by our staff either delivering or clearing the food and drink
- It also means that there is much less clutter in the meeting room, keeping everything more professional for your meeting
- And finally there is no delay whatsoever – your buffet lunch will be ready for your delegates at exactly the time you want it

Thank you very much for your message. I too was sorry that we didn’t meet on the week-end, but there was a lot going on. I am writing to thank you and your staff for organising our school conference. It all went really well – even the Private Dining! I’m sure that we gave you plenty of headaches before we arrived. We enjoyed our stay and quite a few colleagues wished it could have been for longer. I am sure that we will be in touch with you again and then we will be able to enjoy the new restaurant as well.
The team who prepared everything for us at the weekend were efficient, calm and very professional. Every request we had was dealt with very quickly, they were a credit to West Lodge Park, and I hope that you will be able to pass our thanks onto them. This time next year we will have moved into a brand new school, it’s a very exciting time for us and we were able to finalise some of our plans for several aspects of the school. At present we are working in cold and dark conditions as the new school is literally being built around us – hoardings everywhere block out the light in classrooms and on the pathways. It was so lovely going into the John Evelyn room on Friday with the sun streaming through the windows and the lovely grounds to walk in and look at as we worked. It made us realise what awful conditions we have worked in and most certainly cheered us up. We felt refreshed and invigorated, even though we only spent a few hours with you.

We would like to thank you and your staff for all your help in making our 40th Wedding Anniversary Lunch on 12th October such a success. From the outset you guided and advised on all aspects of how we could achieve the best from our day and we certainly did. Not only was the venue such a lovely choice but the sun shone all day so we were also able to enjoy the grounds. The staff on duty were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms looked lovely especially when we had added the final personal touches. I would also like to thank the hotel for allowing me to change in one of the bedrooms which also allowed me to calm myself before our guests arrived.
God willing if we make our 50th The West Lodge Park will be our first choice for our celebrations.Many many thanks once again.

My company was at your hotel last week for 2 days and I can honestly say it was absolutely perfect. We had a meeting last Thursday and an overnight stay with a further meeting on Friday.
The service at both lunch and dinner was excellent. Particularly at dinner! The food was great. Having recently been to a hotel in Gerard's Cross where we all found the food to be very bland. The rooms were nice too and seeing as we all checked in at once we weren't waiting for ages to obtain our keys. I had lunch outside on the patio on Friday as it was a beautiful day and again I couldn't fault anything. I will definitely be using your facilities again. Thank you to you and your team.
It's not often that people thank you and tend to only contact you to complain so I thought I'd drop you an email. I work in an industry where we receive complaints as we dig up the roads, but we have to carry out our essential gas works so when we receive letters of thank you, it makes all the hard work worth while.Thanks again.

After the event I asked my colleagues for some feedback on the venue and all I received were positive compliments! We all felt the venue has a much more personal feel than other conference venues we have used previously which really suited the mood of our meeting. The grounds were stunning, the hotel and restaurant facilities were great and more importantly the staff were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and every request was met with a smile and professionalism. I just wanted to say a big thank you on behalf of Alastair and myself ˆ we REALLY enjoyed our stay.
The staff were all fantastic; the food delicious and the ambience great. Adam was the manager for our stay and he was very personable and willing to help with all our many wants. Nothing was too much trouble.
I arrived early with Anthea Cowen on the Friday afternoon and we were plied with tea and biscuits in front of the roaring log fire in the reception and enjoyed welcoming the rest of the team sipping tea and enjoying each others company. Alastair arrived after work in time for his evening meal. Thank you Andrew.
We had the Oak Room which was beautifully decorated; the evening meal was delicious and served to us by a very friendly young man who was still as cheerful when he served us breakfast! Great service. Michelle who had welcomed us on Friday evening came back on duty on Saturday morning and she was also great.
So as you see your staff were superb. Thank you for facilitating our stay and to Sue and Helen and others that organised everything so well, in advance of our stay.
