Congratulations!

Marc Kerr voted BH Hotel Champion for March 2012 [top left]

Chris Hall and all of the team at Beales Hotel for reaching sales of £2 million at the end of March.

Wayne Turner and all of the kitchen team for achieving the highest 5 star Food Hygiene Rating at West Lodge Park. Both hotels now have this excellent rating.

Estates News

Bedroom 50 at WLP has reopened after a three month refurbishment by Grant Cook, Robert Malleson and the Estates team. Part of the Hadley Suite, it has been given an entirely new look and has been upgraded to a luxury double bedroom with mini fridge, safe, pocket sprung Hypnos bed, modern lighting, new carpet and curtains, new bathroom tiling etc. [pic right]

An extension to the Maple Glade at WLP has been planted, including some rare Acers from various nurseries around the country. This extension also opens up the views from bedrooms 82 and 83 in particular. [pic far right]

 

Special Events News

Special events at Beales Hotels to look forward to this month include:

Easter Sunday lunch at both WLP and BH
Easter Sunday afternoon tea at both hotels too.
St Georges Day dinner at WLP on Friday 20th April [pic right]

And finally...

Another financial year draws to a close with modest growth in sales at both hotels in a very tough market, a long way below the peak of 2007/8. However the hotels look terrific, we have incredibly high ratings, and we have purchased the WLP freehold for the benefit of all our guests and staff for generations to come. My thanks to all the wonderful teams who have worked so hard over the past year to look after our guests to such high and consistent standards.
