The hotel recently played host to the Taittinger Hot Air Balloon which was anchored on the marquee lawn [pic left]. It was a grand sight, helped by perfect still conditions and an appreciative crowd.
Another rise in people visiting www.bealeshotels.co.uk. For the six months April to September 08, there were 64434 unique visitors to the site, a rise of 14% on the same period last year. Repeat visits are not counted again – so it is over 64’000 new people who have viewed our fantastic website in this period.
Boat trips for the teams have continued in mainly unsettled conditions – but a good time has been had by all and it is a special way to get together. [pics right].
is the Credit Crunch reaching Beales Hotels? Sales are certainly falling as our guests tighten their belts. After all, they do not need to come to a nice hotel for a meal or an overnight stay. Nevertheless, we are down far less than the high street or the financial and housing sectors - good service, good food, the warmest of welcomes, a clean bedroom and bathroom, clean ground floor loos, and quiet efficiency will all make our business more recession proof as long as we continue to offer all of this to our guests.
