Ian Thompson on reaching a historic 35 years of service with Beales hotels. Ian started as an apprentice at Firs Hall in 1971, and worked for many years as Sous Chef there, before moving to Hatfield Lodge Hotel as Head Chef and then to WLP as Sous chef. At a celebration to mark this occasion, Andrew Beale commented that although the company has undergone many changes over those years, Ian has been a constant, reliable and cheerful member of the team. We all look forward to Ian’s next 35 years with the company!

..following the demise of Distinguished Hotels and our changeover to HotelRez as our main partner for GDS and consortia representation at WLP and BH, I am pleased to report the following productivity figures for July and August for the two hotels : WLP £8,359 BH £14,448.
