Please tell me where I can buy this. It's amazing!

It is correct thay we supply Beales Hotel with its range of dairy ice creams and fruit sorbets from an extensive range, but our commercial talents good as they are, do not extend to such a culinary masterpiece. I believe you will find that this sorbet has been created by the excellent pastry section at the hotel.

I am just writing again to let you know what a wonderful evening my girlfriend had at the Beales Hotel restaurant in Hatfield last Friday.
Not only was the food and drink first class as always, but we were just so well looked after by Sumi and his team. You just cannot fault the service and the friendliness of the staff!
We will certainly be back very soon!
By the way, we both noticed the dining chairs have been replaced, which is great!

From the sign in the lobby I guess you’re the hotel head chef? I’ve stayed here twice now and had the pleasure of dining here. I am completely impressed by your menu and frankly speaking for someone so widely travelled, you’re a credit to this institution.

Dear Mr Beale,
I am just writing to you as my girlfriend and I wanted to highly commend your staff at the Beales Hotel in Hatfield. Whether working on reception, the restaurant or housekeeping, they are fantastic advocates for the Beales hotel brand!
We usually tend just to dine at the OutsideIn Restaurant, but have on occasions taken advantage of the dinner, bed and breakfast internet offers, even though we live locally as it is such a pleasant experience!
Sumi Saranachchi and his staff deserve a special mention. In particular, Sumi’s attention to detail is and very personable style is second to none. In fact, when we dine, we now feel we are in the company of friends which is something we really appreciate! Please also pass on our thanks to Alex Hendon who is also fantastic although was on duty the last few times we visited.
The food is fantastic - quite simply the best in the area! It was great to meet Diego recently too!
Finally, I would just make a few minor comments, which may help to make it even better. Firstly, I think the chairs and furniture in the restaurant seem to be becoming a little tired now, but I believe from your comments on Tripadvisor that new furniture has been ordered anyway.
The only other thing is the temperature of the rooms we have stayed in on the ground floor was very warm and did actually prevent a really restful night’s sleep. Premier Inn seem to get this absolutely right, but am not sure if anything can be done about this? If ever you require a couple of “guinea pigs” to test newly refurbished rooms then do let me know!
Overall though, things at the hotel are fantastic!
P.S. I would be interested to know what the relaxing music is you use in the restaurant as it would be great to buy!back to top
Just wanted to say a very big thank you for our wonderful lunch today with 42 David Lloyd members attending. They all had a wonderful time and could not fault it in any way.
Food, service and venue were all first class.

Dear Mr Hall
I am not too sure who was ultimately responsible for our lovely dinner, bed and breakfast treat, but I'm sure that it was a team effort. After having just mentioned that I was treating my husband of 29 years to an overnight treat in your hotel (although we live within walking distance of your Hatfield Hotel!), we were really touched when our complimentary wine was upgraded to a bottle of champagne because it was our 29th wedding anniversary.
Also the "Happy Anniversary" piped onto our dessert plates in both French and English just topped it all.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was just how we like it: quiet, unhurried with lovely background music. We were able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. The food was outstanding, well presented and beautifully cooked!
The breakfast the next morning was also superb!
Despite a few hiccups to begin with when I made the booking, I am so glad that Carla managed to persuade me not to cancel!
Once again, many many thanks for a short but memorable overnight stay.

Friday 8th November at Beales Hotel
Please thank all your colleagues for the excellent and friendly service for our Lunch on Friday.
I believe Paul Hoskins passed on thanks to the Chef.
Everyone enjoyed their meal (for some their first visit to the hotel) so much so they have asked me to book next year.
It would be the same day as it follows World Travel Market: I will advise the exact date as soon as possible.
Let's hope we have the restaurant to ourselves - this was an added bonus.

On the recommendation of two Americans who stayed at your Hatfield facility last week, I brought an 83-year-old friend of mine to supper. We arrived before the start of the evening dining following a tiring walk around the grounds of Hatfield House. Alexander, the dining manager?, welcomed us and promptly sat us down, provided menus, ice water, and said that whatever we wanted he would produce from the kitchen.
His attention to detail and his consideration for my traveling companion went above and beyond what anyone showing up at the odd hour could expect to encounter. The word, gracious, comes to mind.

I forgot to add that your food was as delicious as my American friends had indicated (we were all attending a conference on GB Shaw at Ayot St. Lawrence).
So...my new advertising slogan for you is...

Good morning Chris, sorry to email you out the blue, but I just wanted to point out a member of staff that was brilliant during our evening.
I was at the Outsidein restaurant on Saturday night (15th September) for my parents 40th wedding anniversary.We booked a table for 14 people and were told it might be a bit difficult. I then received a call from Alex, your restaurant manager, who explained that the table would be fine and we could decorate the table beforehand.
On the night, Alex introduced himself to me straight away and explained that although there was a bar mitzvah for 160 people and another party, it would not interfere with our evening – he was right. Despite having 14 people all barking orders at him he was smiling throughout, was happy to bring the cake out and more than helpful during the whole evening.
As were all the other staff including the lady on reception, the gentleman behind the bar and our waiter (I’m sorry, I can’t recall their names). And I’m sure they had more than enough on their plate with two other events on the evening.
My parents had a great evening, as did all their guests and it wouldn’t have been possible without Alex and his staff.Your staff helped make the evening special for my parents and I just wanted to let you know that you’ve got a great team on your hands (I’m sure you’re aware).

Susan and I had dinner in the Outside In restaurant last Saturday night, and were very pleased with everything.
It was great to see the restaurant filled with people and buzzing. Considering that there was another private dinner for 14 people on at the same time, the service might have been slow, but it wasn't, there was no excessive delay at all.
Kieran was doing a great job, running the restaurant efficiently and using excellent social skills on the customers. The food at Beale's Hotel is always stylishly presented and well cooked, and this was no exception. The cheesecake was outstanding.
It is good to read the latest Trip advisor reports, too, which are rightly very enthusiastic.Well done the Beales Hotel team!

I just had to e-mail you to say that I went to your restaurant Outsidein yesterday for lunch with my husband. I wanted to say just how much we enjoyed the whole experience and the food was absolutely fantastic!!The presentation is such that it seems a shame to eat it!! I must also say the service was impeccable and very friendly. Our server, Anna, was extremely helpful, efficient and very sociable. We don't often go out to lunch during the week, as we both work, but we had purchased a Travelzoo voucher for my birthday and I must say having experienced your level of service I will definitely take the opportunity to purchase any vouchers they do for Beales - either overnight in the hotel or the restaurant - in the future.

I’ve just eaten at the restaurant in your Hatfield hotel and…. . wow!
As something of a ‘foodie’, this is some of the best food I’ve eaten out for some time. I had the pigeon breast (sublime), pork belly (a touch salty for my taste, but marvellous all the same), cheese (a good complimentary selection) then, couldn’t resist going with a dessert, having the sticky toffee pudding (a great presentation of the modern classic). Please pass on my compliments to the chef and the staff, who provided excellent service of this great food.

I would just like to commend your staff at Hatfield having enjoyed a Tea for my Wife's Birthday on Sat. 28th March.
When organising this a few weeks ago, I was impressed with Reception, then with Linda Purton who looked after me whilst Amy was with another client, and who I knew from my firm's dealings at the old BriggensHotel, and particularly with Amy Tregidgo.
My Wife thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, as did all the other Guests, and the setting and food etc. were really first class.
We also lunched at West Lodge on Fri. 27th, and the new restaurant is certainly first class, as was the food.
Please pass on my thanks to all who made Sat. a really happy occasion.
