We just wanted to send you an email and thank you and all the staff at beales for an amazing day on Friday. We had the most perfect wedding day and cannot thank you enough. All of our guests have been letting us know how good they thought it was too. And we've had unless feedback about how amazing the food was.

We were married at Beales Hotel, Hatfield on 5 July and felt the huge success of the day was in part due to the fantastic support provided by all those staff involved at the hotel. On our initial visit to the hotel, we were shown around by Sumi. He was most helpful, informative and extremely professional in the way he treated us.
Thereafter, we met with Lyndsey Crouch, our wedding organiser on several occasions leading up to our wedding. She was most professional, friendly and constructive in terms of the planning and organisation involved in the wedding arrangements. Lyndsey also allowed us the flexibility we wanted to appoint our own florist, photographer, musician, etc. At the penultimate meeting with Lyndsey, we were joined by Alex the duty manager who assured us that all the necessary preparation would be in place for our wedding event. Needless to say, the whole occasion went incredible well. A big thanks from us to all those staff who waited upon us at the wedding breakfast - the food and service was excellent as was the accommodation. Thanks also to Alex and Theo for the way in which the bar was managed during the evening and the manner in which they treated us. This was Lyndsey’s first wedding which she organised upon joining the hotel and she did it to perfection. A special thanks to her.
We look forward to visiting the hotel again sometime in the future.

On behalf of the Computacenter’s Charity Committee, we would like to say thank you to you, Theo and all Beales’ staff who contributed towards the success of our Charity Quiz fundraising evening in July.
The event was supported by 130 Computacenter employees and raised in excess of £3,081. This figure is being matched by Computacenter, resulting in a staggering £6,162 going towards our three nominated charities: Alzheimer’s Society, Teenage Cancer Trust and Prostate Cancer UK.

Rice/Stavrou wedding – 19 July 2014
I write as the Mother of the Bride and organiser of Jennie and Nasi’s Wedding last Saturday.
The Bride and Groom, and all our guests, had an absolutely fabulous day and Beales made a very significant contribution to our enjoyment.
Lyndsey handled the advance planning superbly and with genuine interest not only in our stated, and late, additional needs and aspirations, but in creating the special day that it was. The Buckland Suite, dressed for the occasion, was beautiful and attracted so many favourable comments, but it was also very functional and coped well with the demands of speeches, a live band and some very energetic Greek dancing by both genders.
Alex’s management of the day itself was smooth and seamless, despite us being over an hour late from the church for reasons entirely beyond our control. The meal was excellent, as we knew it would be, the serving boys and girls were very efficient and in these days were particularly pleased to see that there were enough of them.
Those of us who stayed at the hotel overnight were very happy with the accommodation, the service and the breakfast arrangements and quality. Even the bride requesting a non-feather pillow and duvet at 2 am was met with calm and efficiency!
Many of our guests have commented to us how impressed they were with Beales’ overall performance and let us all hope it leads to repeat business: you deserve it. Well done!
Without a doubt Lyndsey and Alex deserve much credit for making our reception so successful. At all times they were professional, extremely helpful and friendly and a joy to ‘work’ with.

Niamh & Connor’s 18th and 21stBirthday Party – “Fairytale Ball”
This is my family and I first experience with Beales Hotel and we all must admit we were extremely impressed!
While booking and organising the event, our excellent and diligent event Coordinator Patsy Milligan catered to our every need! She was fantastic! I am a bit of a control freak when it comes to organising parties, I am very organised and pedantic but I never felt like I was inconveniencing Patsy with my emails. I always received cheery emails no matter how large or small the problem was.
My sister and I are both coeliac, I was very pleased with Beales Hotel attitude to both are party canapé buffet food and also to our breakfast after staying overnight. A small note would more options would be fantastic but I was overall happy. Theo was running our event on the day and he was superb he made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, making sure we were happing with everything. He was very organised and extremely professionally. Patsy and Theo also added a special touch of a personalised cocktail menu on each table, this I thought was a lovely idea. All of the waiters that evening where so friendly, and I had excellent feedback from the guests of our party.
Overall the whole weekend was fantastic! The staffs are amazing both in the restaurant and on the reception desk, the rooms are beautiful, the food was amazing (especially the gluten free options!), Patsy and Theo deserve a medal for all their hard work. I would highly recommend Beales Hotel for any form of party especially if you have Patsy and Theo apart of your team!

I just wanted to send you both a note of thanks for making my Baby Shower a very sweet and memorable occasion.
It’s taken a while of planning and reminded us all when we were planning my wedding, the amount of effort, detail and hard work that went into it and similarly it was a day to remember and was perfect in every way.
Patsy – it’s been lovely working with you and I thank you for all your help with the co-ordination of the party which was most appreciated, you’ve always been on hand to answer my emails and check progress.
Alex – a special word of thanks to you, you were very helpful the day I came into the hotel to settle the balance, whilst there were no other events organisers to hand you were very attentive, stepped in and discussed everything with me. I would especially like to thank you for all your help on the day, you came in to make sure everything was ok and going well, and were on hand where we needed, so, thanks for all your help, which was most appreciated.
My family and I were overall extremely impressed with the service at Beales which is thanks to you both, you are credit to hotel and we will definitely be coming again to either sample the great atmosphere in your restaurant or maybe another future event.

Dear Andrew Beale,
The company, of which I am an associate, booked me into Beales Hotel this week while doing some work for Roche in Welwyn.
Normally, I stay somewhere nearer and was not best pleased to be made to stay somewhere I didn't know.
It turned out just fine. Walking in on Sunday night I was greeted by Barbara who checked me in with a personal touch and immediately won me over.
The hotel was easy to find and although it took longer to get to Shire Park it was an easy journey.
Your rooms are extremely comfortable, the food both in the bar and restaurant extremely good, your staff just lovely and I had a really good experience.
I would happily stay with you again and encourage others to do so. The hotel was a surprise. Classy. Not what I was expecting.
So thank you and your staff for an excellent stay.

Thank you for your email and sorry for the delay in replying we have only just come back from our honeymoon, and we are now very relaxed.
Thanks for letting me know about the double posting we thought they may have happened.
We would like to say a big thank you to firstly Alex, from the moment I arrived at the hotel on the Thursday evening Alex was very attentive to not only to myself but all our guests also. He looked after us at dinner and throughout the wedding day the service of the meal went without a hitch and lots of our guests commented on the service of the staff. So thank you to all of those also.
The meal the drink and the buffet was excellent, the food in particular was well enjoyed so compliments to the chef.
The operations porter who set up the room late on the evening before saw me and made sure I was happy with the room and to tell him if I wanted anything changed he was very pleasant sorry I did not catch his name.
The duty manager that oversaw the evening I didn’t catch his name either was also very efficient and spoke to both Shae and I to again make sure we was happy.
Of course to you as well Lyndsey for all our email communication and answering all my questions.
Overall we are really happy with our wedding day the hotel was the perfect setting for it and all of the staff involved made it extra special so a big thank you to everyone.

I just wanted to say thank you for a completely smooth and hitch-free programme. I'd like to single out Marc for particular praise, as he took care of everything in his quiet, unobtrusive and professional way.

I am just writing to tell you that we had a lovely day on Saturday. Every time I have spoken with you you have been so helpful and the staff on Saturday were too. Alex in the morning and Sumi and his team in the afternoon smoothed out any small problems that arose from any of our party and made the whole event very enjoyable.
Please also thank the chef for an excellant meal the food was delicious.

After speaking with the meeting hosts from last week’s Roche 5 day meeting they had some great feedback.
Alex and Tim, who were running the training last week stated that they travel globally delivering the training and the service they receive at Beales Hotel is fantastic. They first came in April and they were very impressed and will be returning again in October.
