  My wife and I are on a road trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We started in your “Beales” hotel last night in Hatfield, next to the Galleria. We are in for a treat if all the other hotels we visit are as good as yours!! We would like to commend your staff, especially Peter, who served us drinks last night and also Diego your excellent chef. The food, the hotel and our room were excellent and we slept like tops. ‘Thank you’ again for a nice start to our 25th celebrations.

  There were several stressful factors that occurred upon my arrival and Ms. Purton was thoughtful and kind in the way she dealt with me and the way she problem-solved.

  Hello,

  I regularly come to Hatfield on business and have stayed at your hotel on 3 occasions. After having to endure a stay in the Ramada all last week, I was looking forward to returning to Beales on Sunday evening 14th April, and had impressed upon my colleagues how lovely Beales was in comparison. After a horrendous journey up by train, I was desperately in need of some comfort in the shape of chocolate and I rang down to reception and asked if there was any available. Moments later a young lad (I think his name was Tim) knocked on the door and offered some bars that he had brought for himself earlier in the day, he didn’t want any payment for them and just confirmed the view I already had that the Beales Hotel is a far superior, friendly and clean (I can’t stress this enough in light of my other experience the week before) hotel and I want to say a huge thank you to you and your staff, working away from home is hard enough but the little touches that your hotel provide go a long way in turning a bad day into a good. The food is always presented wonderfully and the staff are quick to carry out any request. Please can you say a big thank you to your staff on Sunday night, especially the young gentleman.

  I want to drop you a quick email about our experience of your conferences team at the Beales Hotel in Hatfield.

  The team there are always helpful, accommodating and patient, and we do often test their patience! In particular I wanted to commend Akasha Cawson and Katie White, who are always helpful and professional. They are fair but firm in their dealings with me, and always go the extra mile.

  I also wanted to mention the fantastic job Linda Purton does, despite our best efforts there are invariably changes, on the day, to all the meetings we plan, whether it be timings, layout or equipment and Linda always handles it professionally and courteously. She doesn’t make me feel bad for asking for things to be changed, and does whatever she, or her team, can to assist. She is professional, personable and conscientious and a pleasure to work with, and it is very much because of this attitude that we continue to hold events at the Beales Hotel.

  Wanted to say a massive thank you to you and your team to help make Alex's Barmitzvah party a real party to remember. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was fantastic, everyone had a great time and commented on how lovely and helpful the staff were. We really did take over the hotel including the car park with the kids entertainment outside! Felt like it was our hotel for the day! I will miss not coming in and seeing everyone - trying to think of a reason to have another party there!

  Everything was perfect, even down to your care with the baby. Thank you, I will certainly pass on our recommendation.

  As it happens, my boss is CEO for Metaswitch Networks, a north London computing software company. We work quite closely with your sister hotel, the West Lodge, where we hold all our graduate recruitment dinners and overnight stays. I have visited the West Lodge on many occasions, but have never had the pleasure of Beales.

  I will keep it in mind if we have requirements further afield from our office.

  HELLO

  As I am recording your checkout invoice for my stay on 7th to 9th Nov (room 55) – I realise I MUST write and thank you for a very good stay. Indeed congratulate you on a very well-run and pleasant hotel experience.

  I do not know the area, found myself delayed there for a couple of days( meetings) and took a chance on an unknown hotel.

  I was thrilled with what I discovered at Beales. Comfortable, clean, well maintained, interesting decor, food that surprised rather than disappoint, and thoughtful and caring customer service. Eve and Peter were the front facing people whose names I most recall but of course I appreciate to achieve your standards it takes the whole team from kitchen to bedroom.

  If I am lucky enough to find myself in the area again, I will definitely be checking to see if you can fit me in!!

  Hi Katie,

  I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for all your help on our wedding day. The room looked lovely and all our friends and family had a fantastic time and I can honestly say other than the fact that we were running late due to the church I enjoyed every second of it and wasn't stressed at all.

  Thank you also for the breakfast the following day, it was great being able to speak to all our family without me worrying about anyone treading on my dress, incidentally it was my new husband that did that most!
